Iran animation ‘Light Sight’ to be screened at SIGGRAPH 2017

Iranian short animation ‘Light Sight’ is scheduled to be screened at the SIGGRAPH 2017 in the US.

Directed by Moslem Tabatabaee, the short animation will be screened at the Computer Animation Festival of the SIGGRAPH experience.

 “The animation has one character and one setting,” Tabatabaee told the media, adding that “The character tries to escape from the room to get to the light he sees outside”.

The Computer Animation Festival 2017 will accept virtual reality short films and experiences for the first time.

The festival started as an annual showcase of advances in computer graphics. Since then, the festival has celebrated the rise of computer graphics as a medium for storytelling, not just in animation, but in visual effects for movies and games.
